FANTINI COMPETITION

AIMART initiated the “Fantini Competition” in 2017 with the mission of offering a life-changing opportunity of growth and artistic development to the “Under35” generation of classical musicians.

Born from an idea of Edda Silvestri, Director of AIMART and Giuliano Sommerhalder, Principal Trumpet of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, international soloist and teacher at AIMART, the Fantini Competition has prestige, prizes and structure that rank it in the top sector of classical music competitions.

AIMART

AIMART, Intenational Academy for Music and Arts was founded in 2016 by Edda Silvestri, former Director of the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome, and movie director,
Francesco Antonio Castaldo.

AIMART is an institution of university level, propedeutic, as well as youth education and has the mission to offer the highest music education available in Italy thanks to the great experience of its faculty and staff.
